About Brian golbad
Brian Golbad is a third generation, Iranian-American landlord, born in Hollywood and raised in the San Fernando Valley. His passion for real estate started at a young age. He was his Dad's right-hand "tool box" man when it came to managing and maintaining their rentals (see above a photo of Brian with a saw in hand as a kid). He realized at a young age, not only does he love real estate, management and maintenance, but he loves helping people and takes pride in helping them find their homes and getting them the best financing they need.
Brian's fondest memories of his childhood were with his Dad, receiving emergency maintenance calls and rushing to Oxnard, Hollywood and Van Nuys to address plumbing and different maintenance issues for all the properties his Dad owned and managed. From a young age, it was a dream of his to own and manage his own rental properties, just like his Dad. At age of 27, Brian bought his first multi-family property and that’s when he realized that setting goals and working hard is what makes dreams come true.
Over the years, Brian has worked for some of the largest real estate developers and investment banks, such as Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo Advisors, and has established and maintained strong relationships with them. This gave Brian the confidence to branch out on his own, with all of the knowledge and experience he gained, and start his own company. He took a leap of faith and pursued his vocation in creating, BlackStone Brokerage Group A real estate investment firm, specializing in real estate finance and investments.
Today you can find Brian working with family and friends refinancing and purchasing their first homes. He works with real estate developers and builders, finding off-market properties and then helps the buyer finance, purchase and reconstruct the property into brand new multi-million dollar homes. He has since purchased multiple properties and done his own reconstructions and continues to build his real estate portfolio by turning his friends and family into real estate investors.
